We’re excited to welcome a new face to the Chekoh family!

What better way to introduce Maria to the world of Chekoh than with a fun photoshoot celebrating our carriers and community. Maria has been getting hands-on with our carriers, and she’s put together a blog post sharing her first impressions, insights, and thoughts on her very first day on set.

I’m Maria, brand new at Chekoh, and I jumped into my first big baby carrier shoot day at a gorgeous home in New Farm, Brisbane. From the moment we walked in it was a total wow.

I had so much fun setting up our wardrobe closet, planning looks, and spending the day mostly behind the camera (with a few sanctioned baby cuddles between outfit changes… not mad about that!) It was the perfect backdrop to capture relaxed, real-life baby carrier moments in beautiful natural light.

The main reason for this shoot was to capture content for our new carrier HUDSON - a soon-to-launch Clip Carrier crafted in a breathable cotton jacquard fabric blend. While we were busy shooting, we also captured a little extra magic - a sneak peek of our Leopard print Clip Carrier (not launching until early 2026, but I couldn’t resist a tease). Plus fresh content of our core carriers to keep your favourites looking their best.

I loved meeting our mum (and dad!) models - Emily, Amira & Jake, and Sarah, and their gorgeous bubs. Watching them juggle feeds, settling, outfit changes and naps while staying calm and camera-ready genuinely blew me away.

The patience, the grace, the quiet superpowers you don’t always see on screen - all there. Parents are amazing. I’m so proud of what we created together and even more proud of our real life parents who made it look effortless. Feeling very lucky to call this my first Chekoh shoot.
