SAFETY & ENDORSEMENTS
BABY CARRIER
When wearing your baby correctly and safely you will harness all the beautiful benefits that Babywearing has to offer.
Chekoh supports healthy hip development by ensuring the 'M-Position' is safely achieved in our carriers.
Your baby’s knees should be bent and raised so they are roughly level with their belly button, with their legs gently spread out to the sides - like a little frog or koala. This position creates a soft 'M' shape with their bottom slightly lower than their knees, allowing their pelvis to tilt forward naturally. Their back will be supported in a gentle, age-appropriate 'C' curve, keeping them safe and comfortable.
We've ensured our Slings, Wraps and OG Clip carriers have been acknowledged as Hip Healthy by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute so you can wear your little one with confidence.
TICKS SAFETY GUIDELINES
Follow these quick steps for a safe and supportive carry, each and every time.

Tight
Keep your baby snug against your body with a firm and tight carry so that they don’t slump in the carrier.

In View At All Times
Always keep your baby's face fully visible and free from any part of the carrier or clothing.

Close Enough to Kiss
Your baby’s head should be high enough to be able to tilt your chin down and kiss them.

Keep Chin Off Chest
Ensure your baby’s chin is lifted away from their chest to keep airways open.

Supported Spine
Your baby’s back should be supported in a natural 'C' curve position and centred in the carrier.
